What can I do to help you (my specialist knowledge)?  

I've been a qualified Chartered Accountant since 1991 and set up my own accountancy practice in 1996 (and sold in 2006).  I can help you in many areas of running an accountancy practice particularly in the area of pricing and strategy.

I used many of the original AVN resources in my own practice and know how powerful resources such as the Business Edge questions can be.

I am responsible for many of the AVN software and can help you get the best out of tools such as Benchmarking, Times Up and Business Potential.

I am always looking for new ways of supporting you and your practice, whether this is time spent researching and creating breakthrough ideas or sourcing the best experts and products in the UK.

What do I do at AVN Head Office?  

Absolutely nothing! (Actually I spend much of my time at home on strategic issues for AVN)

And I’m often out on the road running training events for accountants.

I'm a mad keen cyclist and I'm happiest cycling over the biggest mountains in the Alps and Pyrenees. My best ever holiday was an 850km cycle ride over the Pyreness from the west coast to the east in 4 and a half days!

On turning 40 I decided I wasn't too old to master the guitar - music is my other passion - so I committed myself to learning how to play it.
