Music is my real love outside work and 5 years ago I set up a live music club in Bedford. I've put on over 250 gigs - from blues and folk to rock (inc the first ever Cat Stevens Tribute night). This has led to me being interviewed on the radio twice and being in the paper over 60 times in 5 years. Press releases work (never paid to advertise yet)…Being different works … ask me more!

What do I do at AVN Head Office?  

My role includes helping to get new and current members to AVN events.

I am the first point of contact with anyone showing interest in becoming an AVN member.

I do internet research, looking for best practice in accountancy firms.

I support the team in any way possible.

Fascinating Facts

I am not an accountant but spent 17 years as customer service manager for the retailers John Lewis before joining the AVN team in 2001.

I married my wife in Cyprus in 2008 (she is an accountant)!

I lost 3 stone in 12 months….. ( still a bit tubby though)… if you want to know how, do ask.
