Yesterday was the February meet up of Victoria’s tea party with her local group for Contact the Elderly. It was a great afternoon, made even more enjoyable with the welcoming of two new guests! Audrey and Martin joined the group for tea and cakes and everyone got on that well that she forgot to get a photo as there was too much chatting going on.
Victoria said “It was so great to welcome more people to the group, we’ve really been working hard to raise some more awareness about the charity and get more people involved so to have two new guests come to the tea party was lovely. Even better that everyone got on so well too.
I’m really wanting to get more people aware about what we do so I’m looking into putting on a fundraising event during the year to hopefully get some more interest and also start a pot for the current group so we can do some day trips at some point. Watch this space!”
