Many Accountants tell me they don’t need to advertise as their work is referred to them. That’s great because it speaks volumes about the quality of your work, but let me ask you, are you in control of those referrals?
Sometimes, the wrong people are referred and you feel compelled to deal with them.
So, gain control, tell your clients that you love to receive referrals and that you only work with businesses that conform to your Ideal Client Profile. Share what that is and then ask who they know that fits that description.
Ask for 3 names as this increases your chances of getting names, then ask for an introduction.
